Dinovember Collection

A series based on a daily social media challenge. All entries were painted or drawn in less than two hours.

Day 01 - A Gigantoraptor emerges from the Nemegt dunes as a Barsboldia watches in awe.
Day 02 - As one of the first-discovered dinosaurs, our understanding of Iguanodon's image mirrors our understanding of paleontology and science in general.
Day 03 - A slender Austrovenator leaps from the undergrowth, ready to make use of its uncharacteristically long foreclaws.
Day 04 - Two male Bajadasaurus rut in the Cretaceous sun, flaring their impressive neck sails in a display of size and strength.
Day 05- Three hypothetical color patterns for the chinese tyrannosaur Qianzhousaurus, perhaps taking its nickname "Pinocchio Rex" too literally...
Day 06 - a small parankylosaur Kunburrasaurus wallows for a refreshing mud bath.
Day 07 -the largest known abelisaurid Pycnonemosaurus will not tolerate any jokes about his arms or face.
Day 08 - A Lufengosaurus rests on a fallen log on his long trek through the eternal Triassic forests.
Day 09 - A Meraxes attempts to carry its most recent prey - a nondescript ornithopod - back to its lair before the even storm arrives.
Day 10 - A lone Diabloceratops looks for opportunity in the ashes of a recent forest fire.
Day 11- Masiakasaurus picks its meal from the teeth of a basking Mahajangasuchus.
Day 12- a pair of armored Jakapil start work on their burrow
Day 13 - Carnotaurus' horns are normally for display, but, sometimes, a one-ton carnivore's stubbornness needs a more... physical deterrent.
Day 14 - Deinocheirus may be at home in the swamps, but the intensity of the Nemegt's dry seasons means that it must drop its hot wading feathers in a catastrophic molt to survive.
A baby Oxalaia spinosaur explores the rivers near its nest while its mother carefully monitors from the shore.
Day 16 - Another color study for the parankylosaur Stegouros, inspired by Incan battle armor
Day 17 - Pyroraptor, an unusually lightly-built dromaeosaur, patrols the morning tide for breakfast.
Day 18 - The breeding season for this herd of Secernosaurus may have started too late as the legendary Gypsum desert surrounds their nest site.
Day 19 - The bat-like Yi uses its leathery wings and enormous eyes to hunt flying insects in the dark of the Jurassic forests.
Day 20 - An Erlikosaurus is summoned by the sounds of a Gobihadros tumbling into her canyon, making herself an unwitting and unusual deathbed companion
Day 21 - The largest-known feathered animal, Yutyrannus, is caught off-guard by a late spring snow.
Day 22 - An elderly Sauropelta, covered in moss, lumbers to the local stream to drink. After a certain size, they rarely have to fight for territory.
Day 23 -the British spinosaurid Ceratosuchops makes the most of the Lepidotes spawning run.
Day 24 -a male and female Einiosaurus graze in the early morning sun.
Day 25 - Halskaraptor is most at home in the lush swamps of the wet season. The first rain of the season is a divine blessing.
Day 26 -Jobaria is one of the largest and most-complete dinosaurs from Africa.
Day 27 - A close relative of Giganotosaurus, Tyrannotian, prepares for Thanksgiving.
Say 28 - Emausaurus may be related to Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurus, but it would take tens of millions of years to be anywhere near as big.
Day 29 - Liaoningosaurus is an unusual ankylosaur, hypothesized by its discoverers to be very turtle-like in appearance, lifestyle, and diet.
Day 30 - A Therizinosaurus ends the month as it began: in the Nemegt, with Barsboldia looking in awe, and a sense that not all of our questions will be answered yet.
